Hi my name's Cher Brower
Piano Tuner and Technician, skilled Luthier, expert Seamstress, and Entrepreneur for over a lifetime.
Cher grew up in a "repair, not replace" family, frequently helping her father with household, car, and bicycle repairs for their large family. Her engineer uncle nurtured her natural interest in craftsmanship and the arts, mentoring her in a variety of skills, including:

Cher’s love for puzzles and design also extended to piano and guitar repair. Although she was able to have a piano at home growing up , she found ways to take lessons and developed a strong connection to music. She also became interested in guitar, purchasing her own Yamaha acoustic with her first paycheck after outgrowing her first instrument. This passion for music and repair has remained a key part of her life.

- Ivory Repair & Key Top Replacement: Cher specializes in delicate ivory repair and key top replacements, restoring pianos to their full aesthetic and functional beauty.
- Action Repair: Cher has extensive experience in action regulation and repair, ensuring a smooth, responsive touch for every piano she works on.
- Guitar Repair & Maintenance: In addition to piano work, Cher has developed expertise in guitar repair and maintenance, ensuring that every instrument performs at its best.

FAQ
do you change guitar strings?
Yes, we change strings. We recommend corrosion resistant, high - quality strings in your preference of gauge.
They may cost more, but they will provide better tonal quality and last longer.
Do you do guitar set up?
Yes, if the action is to high on the strings we can lower it and if its to low and causes buzzing we can raise it.
how often should my guitar strings be changed?
Every 3-4 months depending on usage as the oils from your fingers cause rust build up on the strings.
can i wipe my guitar down with furniture polish or windex?
No, we recommend using a professional guitar cleaner. It is safe for the wood and won't add rust or excess oil to the strings, which could affect the playability and longevity of the instrument. We also recommend using a soft cotton or microfiber cloth.
DO NOT WET YOUR STRINGS WITH ANY CLEANER.
